I have been ignoring my photography blog as much as I have been ignoring my photography.   I put it on the back burner when I went back to work full time.  Now that the kids are running us ragged, I feel like my creativity has gone out the window.  The truth is that I really miss it.

Today I had the opportunity to run around and capture some shots of this adorable little girl.  I first met her when she was just a baby and now she is 3!  I had so much fun with her and I have been inspired to dust off my camera and use it a bit more.

1-1-11

Happy New Year! This year I decided to work on my creative side a bit and take on a 365 project. I am challenging myself to take a photo a day for a full year. I don't not have a theme, I am going to go with the flow and just shoot. I hope at the end of the year I will have grown as a photographer and that I will have a great story in photos recapping my year.

It seemed appropriate to post my first photo of the new year with a photo taken from my new point and shoot camera purchased today.  This is the medal I earned from the Polar Dash 5K race ran today.

Happy New Year!
